Judi Jones

Judi was born in the village of Batu Gajah, Malaysia.
Began her early art training under the guidance of her mother Hazel Simon-Talbot, an accomplished portrait artist.
The family travelled extensively and finally settled in Swindon in 1970.
Judi's formal art training began at Swindon College of Design.
Diversity and colour have always been essential aspects in her work and she attributes this to the variety of stimulation gained from many sources including people and places in her past.
She likes her work to give a feeling of atmosphere with a hint of intamacy.
Currently she is experimenting with colour and concentrating on figurative work in oil and pastel.
Judi has undertaken three joint exhibitions with her mother and commissions include Wales and West Association of Building Societies, British Kung Fu Council and Winston's Wish Charity.
